Utilizing a high-intensity discharge (HID), metal halide arc lamp, state of the art electronic ballast, and lithium ion battery.

24W HID Powerlight™ delivers 1300 lumins of 6500k bright white light.
HID lamps are extremely eficient and produce more than four times the lumen output of filament lamps and are more rugged since there is no filament to break. Rated lamp life, 2000+ hours.

This powerful flashlight accomplishes this through the use of efficient & powerful metal halide HID lamps. HID lamps produce light much like an electric arc welder by supplying electricity between two electrodes, controlled by an electronic ballast. Metal Halide lamps (HID) produce whiter light (higher kelvin temperature) than filament light sources which are high in the Red color spectrum. The beam produced from Power Light™ is brighter, (producing more lumens), on a per watt basis than filament incandescent or halogen flashlights. An amber lens is available for optimum visibility for use in smoke, dust & fog.

Internal lithium ion battery, delivers stored power to illuminate this powerful flashlight for 1.5+ hours on full charge. Lithium ion batteries hold their charge longer than alkaline or metal hydride batteries, so Power Light™ is ready for use even when stored for long periods of time. Designed for law enforcement, border patrol, search & rescue, maritime interdiction, and long-range target identification. Power Light™ is also ideal for recreational activities, such as camping, hunting, hiking, aviation, or as an emergency light anywhere.

Power Light™ is more powerful and rugged than ordinary flashlights. It has no filament to break when dropped or jarred and the HID metal halide bulb has a life span in excess of 2000+ hours. Protective rubber lens & end caps help with shock absorption. Power Light™ is a self defense tool as well, if shined in an adversaries eyes, its extremely powerful and bright light will cause disorientation.

The end cap houses the charger receptacle for convenient access for charging the HID flashlight. Power Light™ comes with 100/240VAC charger and for maximum versatility, a 12/24VDC charger is available so it can be charged in your home, car, RV, boat, or aircraft.
